Not Death Nor Grudges Could Keep Them Apart

It has been brought to my attention the quarrel in the streets of Verona. Two people were found murdered. The Montague’s and Capulet’s have been foes since the beginning of age. They are so dumbly stricken by their hate that they are unaware of the secret marriage that has united their households. Their family’s hate only withholds Romeo (Montague) and Juliet (Capulet) from being together. This leads to the lover’s tragic suicide because of a misconception.




Romeo(Montague)

A girl crazy teenage boy. He is 16 yrs. old and a charming cute boy. I say girl crazy because a while ago he talked about how in love he was with Rosaline. Then all of a sudden he saw Juliet and fell in love. Nobody is asking but the friar would agree that it is not true love you can't be deeply in love with one girl one day and fall for another the next. He is Juliet's husband-to-be, she is in love with him and thinks he is a true romantic.



Juliet(Capulet)



She is 12 yrs old. She seems like the average emotional teenager.She fell in love with Romeo and was devastated to find out that she had to marry Paris. The nurse is like a second mother to her she protects her and gives her advice. The nurse thinks Juliet is a beauty and he who marries her will have the chinks.

Capulet vs. Montague

Nurse:

"My dear Juliet. How saddening it is to see her end like this. You know that girl was really in love with that boy Romeo. It broke my heart to see her suffer because she wasn't able to be with him. I think Romeo was worthy of her heart. This is all because of the STUPID grudges their families hold! That's what's to blame! I no longer have my Juliet because of it..."

Benvolio:

"My cousin is dumb, that's what he is. He fell for a Capulet and look at where it left him, dead. The Capulets are to blame for the suffering of my family! Juliet was too easy anyways!

Commit the Crime You Do the Time

The prince has declared that the household will be punished by a lifetime sentence to prison for whom ever was involved in the brawls or deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The people that could possibly be on trial for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are the friar and the nurse. This is because they were aware of the situation the whole time and kept it a secret.

Views on euthanasia

I can earnestly say I don't believe that "mercy" killing is a legitimate way of ending someones life. I think the decision of dieing should be left upon the person. Unless they give advance directions on what treatment they wish to receive if they become unconscious. For example the girl who's father committed euthanasia maybe when she said she wouldn't want to be kept alive artificially she said it carelessly or thought no such thing would happen to her.I bet if she knew that she was going to be in a vegetable stage then she would have a vicissitude of thoughts on what she had said. I think the only exception I have for euthanasia is if someone has lived a long life and are in dieing pain and are ready to go then maybe that would be ok but I would still feel morose. I am reluctant to hear some acts of euthanasia such as the father who murdered his family do to loss of job. I think the man should have taken a moment to mollify and find a solution for his trouble.

Mercy Killing

I think George's perspective for killing Lennie was that he felt it was the best thing to do. I think either way Lennie wouldn't have had a good ending because Curley was after him and he would either shoot him or lock him up. I guess George felt there was no better option.

Personally I wouldn't have the heart to do something like that but I do think it was the best thing for him to do. Lennie was too dangerous to be around he couldn't control his strength and didn't know when to stop. He was a nice guy but I think he is better off now.

"The court accepted that before the accident, his daughter had expressed a preference for dying over being kept alive artificially." I think Beppino was only trying to do what his daughter asked for. Being a father I don't think he wished for that. He must have really cared for what she asked for because he went through a ten year legal battle getting it.

"Patients do have a right to refuse treatment, but they are barred from giving advance directions on what treatment they wish to receive if they become unconscious." I agree because you can awake from being unconscious

I agree nor disagree with what Eluana's father did. Well I can understand why he did it but if lets say it was one of my family members I could never ask for lets say their feeding tubes to be removed because I would always have hope for them to awake. Then again that's me.

This is the city of Hiroshima. It looks like a nice, peaceful, working city. It looks like any average city filled with working people and their families. It doesn't look like the kind of city that's involved in wars and bombings.

This is a part of Hiroshima after the atomic bombing in World War 2 1945. Countless buildings were destroyed and many were killed. Families, personal belongings and their homes were also destroyed. This is a very sad view especially since it was man that did this. Other places that are destroyed like this are from natural occurring things such as hurricanes and tornadoes but this wasn't.

He is a Hiroshima bombing survivor. You can see the pain in scars and the agony in his eyes. I can not imagine going through something like that. I can not say i feel his pain but i can imagine it.

1. I have a very strong opinion towards abortion. The picture above is a fetus it has a head, legs,
and hands like we do but some women say that this is not alive and i say that it is. I believe that abortion should only be allowed if a woman went through a case of rape but it should be hard to get. People have abortions because they don't want the responsibility of a child or can't afford it but in this country you can get help there is a solution for everything. Another reason why a mother would decide on an abortion is because they are told that their babies will be "special". I know this because I've heard cases and my mom sort of went through it.

2."If you voluntarily act in a way that brings about the existence of a person or a fetus, then you have a responsibility to maintain the life of that person or fetus."

3. This quote is basically saying that you have to take responsibility for your actions. If you decided to have unprotected sex than the consequences of that you have to be responsible for. Taking a big step like that comes with responsibilities.

4."However there are many cases in which people who think it would be better not to abort give serious consideration to an abortion. Some of these are listed below:

...the child will suffer from some mental or physical abnormality that the parents (correctly?) think will very seriously damage its quality of life"

5. My mom went for a hospital visit to check up on the baby and the doctor told her my sister was going to be a "special" child. The first thing the doctor suggested was abortion. My mom was very angry, said no, and stormed out of the room. Months later when my baby sister was born she was perfectly fine. Imagine if my mom would have had an abortion because of the smart doctor's mistake.

Hurricane Ike Hits

Hurricane Ike hit Galveston, Texas very hard. It was devastating to people who were allowed to return to the island. Homes were destroyed and nothing was left of the place they once called home. This picture shows me that i should really appreciate what i have it must be very hard to loose everything you have. I can not really relate to this picture because all my life my parents have provided a roof over my head and thankfully I have never lost a home. I feel great sorrow for the people who homes were destroyed or lives were lost during Hurricane Ike. May help come soon.
